Your English Journey, My Mission
Hi there! I'm Alex, and I've spent the last five years helping people from all walks of life discover that English isn't just a language to learn — it's a key that opens doors to opportunities, friendships, and experiences you never imagined.
My journey into teaching started unexpectedly. After studying linguistics and getting my CELTA certification, I taught my first student as a favor for a friend. Watching that student's eyes light up when they realized they could actually hold a conversation in English — that moment changed everything for me.
Since then, I've worked with over 500 students across 20+ countries. From teenagers preparing for their first international trip to professionals negotiating multi-million dollar deals in English, every student teaches me something new about the beautiful complexity of language learning.
My Approach
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that every student has a unique relationship with language. Some think visually, others need to hear a word ten times before it clicks, and some learn best through stories and real-world context. My job is to find what works for you.
My lessons aren't about drilling grammar tables or memorizing vocabulary lists (though we'll do some of that too). They're about building a relationship with English that feels natural, useful, and even enjoyable. I use a mix of structured methodology and genuine conversation, tailored to your specific goals and learning style.
Most importantly, I create a space where mistakes aren't just okay — they're celebrated. Every error is a step closer to fluency, and I'll make sure you feel supported every step of the way.
